Shipping Policy

Shipping charges — continental United States

Shipping rates are calculated based on the dimensional weight (dim weight) of the order. Orders typically require 2 to 3 working days after placement to ship. More information on dim weights from FedEx.

Only the lower 48 states qualify for any shipping promotions or offers.

Express shipping — continental United States

If you select FedEx 2nd Day Air, in-stock orders placed before 12:00 noon MST on business days will ship the same day. Orders placed after noon MST on business days, on weekends or on holidays will ship the next business day.

FedEx 2nd Day Air shipping and delivery time includes business days only — weekend and holiday days do not count toward transit time. FedEx 2nd Day Air can only be shipped to a physical address, not to a PO Box.

Alaska and Hawaii

The website calculates actual shipping charges based on the shipping methods available to you; FedEx 2 Day or USPS is usually available. Some items such as chemicals, solvents and other flammable goods cannot be shipped to these locations. If you cannot check out, you most likely have restricted items in your cart — remove them and the shipping options will appear for your other items.

International shipping

Orders outside the USA are processed either by FedEx Standard International or USPS International. Some countries and some products are restricted. If you are placing an order and cannot check out, it is most likely due to an address mismatch, your country not being on the approved list of countries we ship to, or restricted products in your cart.

Magazine capacity restrictions

Some states, counties and municipalities have restrictions on magazines capable of holding more than ten rounds. We will not ship high-capacity magazines to residents of those locations. The limitations we are currently aware of are:

• California — 10 rounds max
• Connecticut — 10 rounds max
• Hawaii — 10 rounds max, pistol magazines only
• Maryland — 10 rounds max
• Massachusetts — 10 rounds max
• New Jersey — 10 rounds max
• New York — 10 rounds max
• Washington DC — 10 rounds max
• Illinois — City of Chicago 12 rounds max, City of Aurora 20 rounds max
• Colorado — 15 rounds max

Loaded ammunition restrictions

The following locations restrict the shipment of loaded ammunition. We will not sell or ship ammunition to these locations:

• California
• Connecticut
• Illinois
• Massachusetts
• New Jersey
• New York
• Washington
• Washington DC

Exportation of magazines to foreign countries, including Canada

Dillon Precision is not authorized to ship any magazine of any type outside the United States of America. No exceptions.
