Who own a 'Square Deal B' here?

I shoot 9mm only at this point and have been collecting brass. I have only a ultrasonic cleanercalipersscale as far as equipment so far and would like to find a kit to fill the rest. I have looked at hornady lnl and its about $510, that's a bit over budget for me. Lee pro 1000 is about $200 with shipping, but you have to wonder why you pay over 1/2 the price of the others and what you get in return. Dillon sounds like a quality made press and the Square Deal B is about $380 plus shipping. Do any of you have any regrets or wish you got a different model instead? Are any of the upgrades really needed?

I bought a SDB on eBay for about 1/2rd the price. Came with all the parts. I found out that it was an older model, so spent a small amount to upgrade and put in new plastic pieces. I've had some parts to be replaced, free of charge, by Dillon which is great. I owned the 550 but sold it a few years ago. Can't praise either one enough. Great reloaders.

The SDB is a great starter press. I just sold mine and moved up to the 550. I still say the SDB is a great machine, despite it's limitations.

I have a Square Deal B I bought from a friend and the manual is dated 12/April/94. I have been using it quite a bit over the years and it still gives good service. I have had a few problems but Dillon ALWAYS has excellent service and advice and I would recommend them 100%.
