White rollers for primer feed do not line up.

I have a 550 that I bought used. The problem that I am having is that the white rollers for the primer feed do not line up. Even when the big roller on the primer bar is all the way out against the snap ring the small roller on the ram is offset to the right about 1/8 inch. The offset is so bad it causes the operating rod for the primer system to jump out of the groove of the smaller roller and then bind up. What do I need to adjust or replace to fix this issue?

It sounds like the roller bracket, which has the small roller pinned to it, needs to be shifted to the left slightly. You can loosen the two mounting screws to do this, or else we just lightly tap the right side using a plastic hammer.

I'd say the clamp on the primer tube in which the top of the rod engages needs to be loosened and aligned. The rollers are pretty much where they're gonna be.

Loosen the clamp in which the top of the rod engages. Rotate hither and fro such that the rod runs true in both rollers from bottom to top. Dont mess with the height unless primer bar is short-stroking, or bending the rod at full lift.

Ther is about 4-9/16" of exposed tube below the clamp, if vertical position of clamp is questionable. My bar slides to outer limit with swagger and panache when ram is fully raised.
