Super swager handle debacle

Tonight I have broken my 3rd Dillon super swager handle, each time the handle has broken Dillon sends me out a new Aluminum handle.
Every one I have spoken to that suggested I buy Dillon becouse of the no BS warranty and the robustness of the mechanical design.
My only question is why is the super swager handle now being made out of aluminum rod?
I understand it used to to made from steel.
Am I the only one breaking these handles?

RE: Super swager handle debacle

My just broke today 9/16/2020 after a few thousand 556, I thought it curious that it was made out of aluminum. I hope I can get a replacement.

RE: Super swager handle debacle

I asked YouTube content creator hillsgun– who sells a modification to the swager– about this and he thinks people may be applying too much force and the swager may not be set-up correctly, but he is also designing a steel handle replacement! I'd just like to know if the handles are breaking when the swaging punch is inserted or removed. There are some pictures of broken handles in reviews on Amazon: www.amazon.com/dp/B00LAEVPZE
