Service work

I spoke with the service department today and mailed my 550b off. The, while cleaning i foynd more itms that had to go in so back to the post office. I marked it with the same R # and box 2. Hopefully they can repair it all. I can't find aome things like pick up tubes and large and small primer tubes so no I'll order them too.
The vack of my ram was getting a caked up black to it and sticking. So there cleaning was really needed. Plus my powder canister is so discolored it is hard to see through.
Well be a joy to use when it comes back.

RE: Service work

Please let us know the RMA number, so we can tell the repair dept to look for 2 boxes.
You can post it here, or email us at sales@dillonprecision.com

RE: Service work

Hi, thanks. My return # is 221873. The 2nd box is a USPS Priority mail box. Both boxes were sent same day, press in the morning box 2 in the afternon.
When you order a large or small primer magazine is it complete like the one that came with the press originaly?
Some how even though I thought i did a great job in packing this all up for storage I must have dropped something heavy on the package as it was crushed. Press was fine, powder measure fine, but the tubes for primers not so fine. And i threw the bent parts out.
So, back to the Dillon catalogue again.
Thanks Mike White

RE: Service work

The tubes include the appropriate tips. They are ready to use, whether a magazine tube or a pickup tube.
