RT1200 Popping Breakers

I've got an RT1200 trimmer and all of a sudden it is popping the circuit breaker after about 10-15 seconds or less.  I moved it to another plug where I use a power miter saw and it still pops the breaker.  I have used it without problems before and it seems to spin up fine before popping the breaker.  Also, what is the difference between the RT1200 and the RT1200B.  Any help appreciated.

RE: RT1200 Popping Breakers

mine as of yesterday started doing the same thing in my garage, have it running on a 20a gfi but every time it starts it immediately pops the breaker I’ve had for a short while and maybe only trimmed 300 brass on it

The trimmer runs on rectified DC power. You cannot use it on a GFI (ground fault interruptor)circuit.

Mine is not running on a GFI, so the problem I am seeing is something else. Any ideas?

Thanks

RE: RT1200 Popping Breakers

Please update the accessory manual to state the RT1200(B) and I assume the soon to be released RT1500 should NOT be run on GFI circuit because of the DC motor.  That helpful hint should be part of the manual.  Most garage outlets in later model homes are ALL GFI now, so this does present a challenge.
