RT1200 or RT1500 ?

I currently have a Dillon RT1200 trimmer with several trim dies.

I only use it for trimming factory original brass to specified case trim length.

No heavy wildcat or case conversion work, e.g., converting 30/06 to 243 Win.

Do I need to trade my RT1200 for the new RT1500 ?

If so, will my RT1200 trim dies work in the RT1500 ?

RE: RT1200 or RT1500 ?

The upcoming Rt1500 will use the same dies as the RT1200. Since you are not hogging off .500" of brass, your RT1200 is good for many, many thousands of cases. No reason to change, no advantage for you to do so.

Dillon,
Is the RT1500 going to replace the RT1200, or will both be offered?

I borrowed your case trimmer from a friend and loved it. I just ordered one for myself. How long a wait till it ships. I heard there was a long wait on these. Please tell me I heard wrong.
