Primer feed system removal

When you have to take primer feed assembly off the machine, is there away to remove it without all the primers going all over the place? Or a way to catch the primers before they go all over the place?

RE: Primer feed system removal

There is no convenient way to detach the 1050 primer feed while it still has primers in it. Best bet is to if possible, run it dry before removal. Barring that, position a plastic cup next to the back of the frame, so you can quickly drag the primer feed over it to catch most of the falling primers.

RE: Primer feed system removal

I found by slipping the thin cardboard cover of a primer box under the primer magazine will keep most in the feed tube when removing it while loaded with primers.
