picked up a used loader

i picked up a 550 with 4 caliber changes and a ton of other stuff that really made the deal

it doesnt look to have the tapped pivot mounts and can definitely use a good cleaning.

i have some pictures but doesnt look like i can add them. my guess from the age of some of the reloading supplies is was bought in the early 90s

The main piston have some surface rust but dont see any major pitting. The screw that holds the shell plate down its rusted pretty good. Guy had it in a shed, it wasnt exposed to the elements but wasnt sealed very well

RE: picked up a used loader

I picked up a bruised and battered 550 from a good friends estate sale.

I sent it in and essentially got back a like new machine in perfect working condition.

You have to pay shipping to them, however the price they charge to refurbish it is essentially packaging and shipping back to you.

No dies and remove the handle, be sure to send the powder measure(s) in as they have significantly improved them.

They are good people and will take good care of you. That is why I now own three Dillons with a ton of accessories.

Give them a call Monday and ask for a RMA.
