Why Choose Accurized

Built for Precision Reloaders

Micrometer Precision

Increased-range, ruggedized, 0.001" resolution micrometer features positive tactile clicks for enhanced usability and precise control. Providing nearly a full inch of linear travel gives an unprecedented level of adjustability when setting bullet seating depth. The 1.0" spherical tip promotes self-alignment of the load, minimizing side forces and bending for improved accuracy and reliability.

Dual Seating Stem Profiles

Includes two caliber-specific seating stems optimized for tangent/hybrid or secant ogive profiles, providing optimal contact with spitzer type bullets. The internal geometry is engineered to maximize the contact patch positioned close to the bearing surface — minimizing ogive runout-induced error and protecting the ultra-thin jackets of today's high-performance bullets.

Expandable Caliber System

Multiple seating stem sets allow you to expand your caliber range without purchasing multiple dies. Each $50 conversion kit includes both seating stem profiles plus a caliber-specific case alignment sleeve — everything you need to add a new caliber to your existing die body.

Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between tangent and secant seating stems?

Tangent and secant refer to different bullet ogive profiles. Tangent ogive bullets have a curved nose that meets the bearing surface at a tangent point, while secant ogives have a more aggressive, pointed profile. We include both stem profiles so you can match the stem to your specific bullet design for optimal contact and alignment.

Why does low ogive contact matter?

The ogive is the most consistent portion of the projectile. By contacting as low as possible on the ogive, we ensure proper alignment with the case while leaving no marring or marking on the projectile that could affect its aerodynamic performance. This results in better accuracy and consistency downrange.

How does the spring-loaded centering sleeve work?

The spring-loaded case centering sleeve automatically aligns the projectile relative to the case as it enters the die. This self-centering action eliminates runout — the wobble or eccentricity that can occur when the bullet isn't perfectly aligned with the case. The result is straighter, more concentric ammunition.

Can I use this die on my existing press?

Yes! The Accurized Micrometer Seating Die uses standard 7/8"-14 threads, making it compatible with virtually all reloading presses on the market, including all Dillon progressive presses. The free-rotating micrometer cylinder ensures easy reading regardless of the die's position in your toolhead.

How do I add additional calibers?

Simply purchase a $50 conversion kit for your desired caliber. Each kit includes both tangent/hybrid and secant seating stems plus a caliber-specific case alignment sleeve. The die body remains the same — just swap the components and you're ready to load. Far more affordable than buying separate dies for every caliber.

What makes the micrometer "free-rotating"?

The micrometer cylinder can rotate independently around the adjustment stem, allowing you to position the scale markings for easy reading regardless of how the die is oriented in your toolhead. No more awkward angles or guessing at your settings — just rotate the scale to face you.
