Is the DA3000 compatible with my press?

The DA3000 Motor Drive is designed specifically for the Dillon RL1100 and CP2000 progressive presses. If you have either of these presses, the DA3000 is a direct bolt-on upgrade that transforms your manual press into an automated high-volume production machine.

How difficult is the installation?

Installation typically takes 30-60 minutes for someone familiar with their press. The DA3000 comes with detailed step-by-step instructions and all necessary mounting hardware. Video tutorials are also available on our website. If you prefer professional assistance, contact our customer service team to help you through setup.

What is the warranty coverage?

The DA3000 Motor Drive is backed by a 1 yeaar warranty. If any component fails due to manufacturing defects or normal wear, we'll repair or replace it free of charge. This warranty is valid for the original purchaser and covers all electronic and mechanical components. The DA3000 will also NOT void the RL1100/CP2000 1 year warranty.

What electrical requirements does it need?

The DA3000 operates on standard US outlet. The included power supply converts this to the appropriate DC voltage for the servo motor. No special electrical work or dedicated circuits are required. The Low Primer/Powder sensors will connect to the control unit.

How does the digital clutch protect my equipment?

The 50-level digital clutch monitors torque in two independent zones: travel (ram movement) and work (actual reloading operations). You can set sensitivity thresholds for each zone. If resistance exceeds your settings—like a stuck case or debris—the motor automatically stops, preventing damage to dies, shell plates, and other components.
