installation measurement requirements

From the manual it states:

"2.Mounting your XL 650:
A. Locate a sturdy bench at least 24” wide and 14” deep, with 44” of overhead clearance. We suggest a minimum of 1” plywood or equivalent, secured to the back wall. The workbench should be tall enough to place your eye level about 18” above the bench."

...what I'm wondering is does the 44" of overhead clearance take into account the space needed for the casefeeder and/or strong mount? Or asked another way, how much space do I need from the bench top to a workable space for a 650 w/ casefeeder.

The space I am targeting to use is a little on the low side but since I'm going to build a bench for the press and not use a strong mount I have some flexibility in how high to make it. Just hoping to get a feel on actual size of a 650 w/ a casefeeder since I'm planning on eventually getting one. Thanks in advance.

Mine measures 34" from the top of the case feeder to the mounting surface. You still want to leave room above the feeder to be able to put handfuls of brass in the feeder.
