Help Please...Powder sprinkle

I have a stock XL650 that was purchased about 4 years ago.

I mainly use this press for reloading 9mm and do not have problems with it.

The problem happens when I want to reload .223. I use Varget powder (and don't want to switch). When I reload every once in a while the powder system will sprinkle powder. I have not measured it, but after 100 rounds I bet I would have sprinkled a few grains of powder. I called tech support and basically they said this just happens with this shape powder. Ball powder does better.

How do I eliminate this problem (again I'm not changing powders)? Is there a fix to solve this with the original equipment or do I need to change to a different auto powder system? I am sure I'm not the only one with this problem. What are others doing?

Thanks for the help.

I doubt you can completely eliminate it. Stick powder through a small funnel tends to bridge, add some static and its worse.
Some things that might help.
Wipe down the measure with a dryer sheet to reduce static.
Wait a beat with the handle fully down so powder has an extra bit of time to dump from the powder funnel into the case.
Some folks say polishing the bottom of the powder measure helps, but I saw no difference.

I have 2 XL650 set up for 380 and 9mm. Watching closely both have the sprinkle off the brass tip of the powder check systems. I am really disappointed with the mess that it creates. I’ve tried grounding the systems, wipeing down the brass with a anti static cloth, and finally just removed the check system on both.
NOT A HAPPY CAMPER !!

Forgot to say I’m using WIN 231 in the 380 and Bullseye in the 9mm. I have also wrapped a anti static sheet around each powder tube.
Any chance humidity plays a roll in this problem?.

I had the same problem with the powder check-removed it.
I got an inspection mirror from Autozone and zip tied it to the casefeeder support arm. Easy to see an empty or double feed and no adjustments needed.

Those that bleed Blue wont like hearing this, but I swapped out the Dillon powder dropper with the Lee Auto Drum Powder Measure #90811 and I no longer have powder sprinkles. I also get a more consistent powder drop (cheaper too).

I'll can sell the Dillon powder measure and buy (2) Lee Auto Drums. Hmmmm.....

I load .45ACP and have put about 10K rounds through mine so far. Pausing for a second at the end of the charging stroke makes power spillage negligible. I have a strip of dryer anti-static cloth along placed vertically at the ID of the hopper trapped at the top by the lid so a piece of it hangs out. The powder I use is 700X which is a flake powder.

In my post the word 'along' should not be there.
