Happy with new XL750

After loading for 20 + years on my old XL650 I decided to add a second 650 to my bench only to find it had been replaced with a new model. I'm a little OCD and resist change so I was more than a little worried Dillon was cutting cost and making a new cheaper product that cost more and delivered less. I was wrong my new XL750 is a much better smoother running machine all the small issues with the old 650 have been addressed. As a test I loaded my new 750 with powder and 100 mixed pcs. of 9mm brass and 100 mixed small primers Federal, CCI, and Winchester and after a couple small adjustments it ran 100 %. No more slinging powder like a lawn sprinkler if I load fast just a good running product.

RE: Happy with new XL750

Like you I have only had my 750 a very short time and loaded 100 x 9mm.
I've had other Dillon presses and the 750 looks like being my favorite. I prefer the priming system on the 750. No more primers dropping down the plastic chute as on the 650. In my opinion, the roller under the shell plate is an improvement over the 650. I hope I have the same opinion as I continue to load.
