Last night I removed the shell plate to clean it and when I re-installed it, after making a full stroke of the handle, it seems to push the end of the ejector wire further down into the hole and rubs on the shell plate, to the point that it is hard to advance the shell plate to the next station. If I pry it out of the hole a little bit, still keeping in in the hole, it's fine until I make another full stroke of the handle. I took it (the ejector wire) off and re-installed it several times with the same result. I got to the point that I did not insert it into the hole and it doesn't get pushed down to the shell plate and rub, but it doesn't bend the ejector wire either, when it's not in the hole, since it seems like it's hitting something when a full stroke of the handle is made. The shell plate rotates freely when the ejector is not rubbing on it and I even tried loosening the shell plate bolt a little more than it needs to rotate freely. I have no idea why it's doing this.
