Dillon Powder Measure

I am just now setting up a new RL1100 that came with the Dillon power measure. Am reloading 6.5 Creedmoor with H4350 powder. So far after 50 throws I cannot get a consentient power amount. I am trying for 42 grains and getting anywhere from 41.7 to 43. Any suggestions?

RE: Dillon Powder Measure

It doesn't do well with extruded powder. Nothing does. I weigh every charge off-press, trickle-up, and use a funnel that fits on the powder die for precision loads.

RE: Dillon Powder Measure

Thank you very much for taking the time to post those links. Excellent information in those references. I have a Charge Master and can get excellent throws with it. I suspect for my loads for the 1,000 yard range will be with the Charge Master.

Thanks again.
