Dillon Digital Scale (drift?)

I am using Dillon 550C powder measure and Dillion Precision digital scale. Failsafe rod is adjusted properly verified by conversation with Dillon support and powder bar has full travel.
Here is what I am doing, charge is placed in the pan (centered on scale), breeze guard down and scale calibrated before each session, scale plugged in to AC power source.
Here is what I am finding, charge weight is displayed (in this case 3.6gr N310) and remains displayed long enough to assume it is stable (a minute or so). In the time it took to write this note the display changed to 3.4gr, the guard is down and no air movement no table vibration or activity on the table, the table is heavily built and standing on a concrete basement floor.
The bottom line question is what is the correct measurement? Is it the initial indication of 3.6 or walk away and letting it stand for 5 minutes to see what comes up? Before sending I checked scale again and it's reading 3.3gr.

RE: Dillon Digital Scale (drift?)

As digital scales warm up, the load cells slowly expand, and the displayed weight will drift slowly. Press the zero button between weighing, and use the initial weight displayed.

RE: Dillon Digital Scale (drift?)

Is there a recommended warm up period that would minimize this? I know of some scales that recommend warm up periods but I've been through the manual for this scale and there is no mention of it that I could find.

Thank you for your quick response to my concern.

You can let it warm up 30 minutes or so, but as long as you press the 'Zero' button before weighing, it has no affect on accuracy.
