Colored Billet Toolheads

I noticed the new colored billet toolheads introduced at SHOT show in the latest Blue Press and on the website. They look great.

What is the main difference or advantage to the new toolhead over the standard?

Is it simply color to be able to customize and color code the machine?

Are the tolerances any better?

Thank you.

RE: Colored Billet Toolheads

The color anodized toolheads are made of billet aluminum. The tolerances are identical to the standard toolheads. The zinc alloy the standard toolheads are made of is not able to be anodized. The sole purpose is for color identification.
