Case Feeder & 300 BlackOut

I am loading 300 BlackOut for the first time on my Dillon 650 with a case feeder. I have the large pistol Plate but when I put the large washer under the plate the pin that locks into the plate and makes it turn is almost flush. The plate stops turning a lot, I have to put my hand in there and play with it and it will catch again. I have only put less than 100 cases in the case feeder but its just to much weight I think. Also the case feeder will never empty out, the last 10 or so cases just sit on the bottom and do not stand up.

I do not think I could have screwed up putting in the washer, is there something I am missing ?

Thanks to anyone that sends a reply my way.

I found a You Tube video and it showed the large washer being installed BETWEEN the plate and the part that locks into the pin that drives the unit.

What caliber conversion kit did you purchase for the AAC Blackout I just bought my press and thought that the 223 conversion kit would work for the blackout apparently not now after looking at their website

On the XL650 conversion for 300 BLK, only two parts differ from 223 Remington/5.56mm:
Powder funnel- use the AK funnel #13015 for jacketed bullets, the the "C" funnel (30 M1 Carbine) for cast bullets #13564

Case Feed Adapter- use the modified blue adapter for 22 Hornet, #15186

RE: Case Feeder & 300 BlackOut

I have the XL650 with Electric Casefeeder. Using the Small Rifle Plate, with the 300 BLK causes the shells to fall both ways. I cut a piece of 22 ga steel 4" long by 5/16" wide and folded it to go over the top of the Casefeeder lip, then parallel and laying flat under the plate. The tight tension in the lip-fold holds it in place, but makes it adjustable so the mouth of the shell rides above the homemade adapter when the shell comes around mouth-first. I wish I could post a picture of this simple piece of bent metal. It requires no modification of any part of the casefeeder, just slips over the edge. I did loosen the clutch to make it slip if it fails, but if it's adjusted properly, it works perfectly with no up-side-down cases.

You could have saved yourself some trouble by simply sliding the metal clip that's already installed on the left lip of the case feeder over to the right approx 1/2".
