I just broke in my new XL750 by running 2,800 9mm 124gr jhp rounds. Early on I noticed thumb pressure gave me bullet setback so I changed to a Lee sizing die not a U-die just a standard 9mm die and the problem went away. The 9mm bullets were Precision Delta .3554". I have used the Dillon dies before with no problems but only with new and once fired Starline brass. This time I was using mixed head stamp brass with very little case mouth flare and just touch of taper crimp. I'm looking at the Dillon die and it looks like if I chucked it in my lathe I might be able to remove a couple thousands from the face of the die does anyone have any ideas before I mess up a good die.
