9mm Shell Plate
January 7th, 2015 at 3:04pm
I have one position on the shell plate that always catches the edge of the primer in stage two. The machine has about 1500 rounds of 9mm through it and the other three positions on the sell plate work fine at stage two. I saw on a previous post that someone had just filed the shell plate a little to correct a flipping primer problem. I am looking for some help. Thanks.

Inspect the pocket where the case slides in for a circular dimple mark. This happens if someone has short-stroked the handle, which results in the decapping pin impacting the shellplate. Usually any resulting burr can be cleaned up with a file. If not, contact us for a return authorization for exchanging the shellplate.
