9mm Jamming on ejection

I have a square deal b in 9mm that on occasion jams as I am raising the handle. I thought it was the primer jamming but now know, after taking it apart and checking everything, that is is the round as it is being ejected. On the 1 in 15 rounds that jam if I reach around and pull it free the cycle continues flawlessly. These are mixed brass when I continue reloading tomorrow I will check to see if it is brass specific. Are there any other areas you would suggest I look? I will provide pictures if it helps. .. K

RE: 9mm Jamming on ejection

I've got the same problem, only with every round. New Square Deal B. Only about 500 rounds. Just started doing it at the end of loading 100.

I have about 2000 through mine. (guess) I'm going to start segregating the brass that jams to see if it's a brass problem. This bunch of brass is mixed headstamps.

RE: 9mm Jamming on ejection

mike the extraction grove on your 9mm cases, they shouldn't be more then .342----because Dillions' 9mm plate on my two machines are .344---some over pressured cases and some new factory cases are boarder line----they should be between .336 and .343 to run the plate smoothly---hope this helps.
