550c huge disappontment

Recently bought a 550C.. I've had nothing but problems since day one. The main issue is the fail safe return rod and the little white plastic bolt. No matter what I did I could never get it to drop a consistent load... I had a 550B 20 years ago.. It was nearly flawless.. Don't know what happened.. I still haVE PARTS on order such as the metal stand and billet trays. Next time you want to waste around $900 buy one of these or just get 9 one hundred dollar bills and tear them up and throw them in the street. that would be a lot less aggravation. I even had a friend of mime an experienced reloader, (used an older 550c for years) and HE couldn't not get this thing to work properly. Live and learn. Maybe I just have bad luck.

Thought I give you all a heads up

You should probably phone us when you can be in front of the machine. The case-activated powder measure design is unchanged since 2000. 800-223-4570

Thanks for your help. My problem is that the plastic washer or bolt does not fit into the return bracket.. Every time we try to insert it, the plastic part breaks. I went through two of them so far and have ordered more. Never had that issue withe older machine. I have order more of them and will give it one more try.
