550 case feeder hits frame

I just installed a casefeeder on my 550B, and have 2 issues. The casefeeder hits the primer rod when raising the plate, and at top of the stroke, the case feeder contacts the frame and I can see it is slightly 'deflected'. It deflects enough that the conversion adapter and the drop tube get deflected also. I dis-assembled the platform, loosened the screws and moved the casefeeder very slightly away from the primer base. The alignment tool goes in perfectly. I did bend the primer guide rod a bit, and I think it is functioning ok, but I do not want to put any strain on the feeder when it tops out. I thought of putting a 'gasket' spacer under the main plate, between the case feeder, but thought it may cause issues when feeding cases. I don't want to use it like this. Any ideas?
