1050 Case Feeder

I have a Super 1050 and a RL1050. My RL1050 case feeder will drop cases until the limit switch stops it no matter how many cases are loaded in the hopper. My Super 1050 not so. It will drop 3-4 cases and then stop on its own. It acts as if it has no power at all to turn the case plate. I have to push the case plate with my finger frequently to keep it going. It is a real pain. I have changed the drive motor thinking it was worn out. The new motor did not help at all. This applies to pistol cases, rifle cases, it does not matter. I have tried loading just a few cases and sometimes it will work for a while. Seems like you should be able to load at least a hundred pistol cases, but it will not work for me. Any ideas? I wish it would work half as well as my old RL1050 case feeder.

Try this: unplug the unit, detach the clear plastic funnel assembly from the bowl, and detach the wires from the microswitch. Jump these two wires together, plug it in, turn it on. See if it runs properly. Most often the microswitch is the culprit.
