sl900 casefeed tube

Be sure the tube is rightside up. The opening of one end of the tube is bevelled on the inside.

When you say it hangs up when it falls out of the case feeder, is it hanging up on the micro switch or is it hanging up on the down tube?

sorry it took so long to respond work has been crazy.  it's clearing the micro switch and hanging up on the tube and the tube is installed correctly(right side up).  what to do now?

Does an empty hull slide thru the tube when it isn't in the loader? Does the mouth of the tube look round or oval?Are the hulls squashed?

a hull will slide through it while it's took off.  it just catches the top of the tube dropping  into it.  right now i've had to take a piece of string tied to the tube and tie it back tight to the casefeeder arm.  seems to of helped

wish i had seen your post earlier - but surely you're up and running by now. anyway, i had the exact same problem. i discovered that the pressure exerted by the little clamp that holds the tube at the base of the feeder can cause the tube to come out of round - notice how the hulls only bind at the top of the tube and not at the bottom. after thinking about it for a minute, i just spread the "wings" on the clamp a little bit to take some pressure off of the tube, rotated the tube 90 degrees and every hull has been dropping fine ever since. good luck with it
