i have a problem with my xl650
the shellplate rotates easy and is abaut 1/8 loosed from tight
but everytime the rotation comes near endposition the shellplate speeds up and the case stop is hard that some powder is overwhelmig the case
caliber is 9mm and it happen with every case-brand
does someone now this problem or got an idea ?

Push down on the edge of the shellplate at station 4. If it feels springy, then the shellplate bolt still needs a bit more tightening. How old is your 650? Serveral years ago we weakened the spring under the detent ball. You can safely clip about 1/2 coil from this spring.

the 650 is about 2 years old
but the shellplate is realy close to tight
my guess ia a too strong spring under the dentent ball as well
