rl550b seating primer

I dont know if I am doing something wrong or not. I started to reload 2 nights ago and some of the primers are not seating all the way. I pull them out of the first stage and put them on the table and well it rocks. I have removed the shoot and it still dont seat fully. but if I change brass to blazer brass it seats. I have even tried winchester brass and well same thing. now I have not had this problem before.

Need some more information. What caliber are you loading? On what specific headstamps do primers fail to seat? What brand and type of primers are you using?
Push down on the edge of the shellplate between stations 2 and 3. If it feels springy, then the shellplate bolt needs to be tighter.

I am reloading 9mm. winchester, speer are the main one that are not seating fully now the winchester used to seat fine. I will try that and see if its springy I hope thats all it is.

think I may have figured it out. the caught try was hindering it some. but they still do rock slightly. I losen the main bolt for the shell plate and turned the shell plate til it was tight and you didnt hear the click anymore then backed it off 1/4 and I had the click back for the indexing and then tighten the lock bolt. not sure whats going on. I am using cci primers
