I do not know how I did that... chalk it up to being new on this forum...
The question is...
I have come across a vendor selling .40 S&W 1x brass with crimped primers.
He says it is perfect for those with a Dillon 1050. Is that becasue after de-priming the primer pockets need to be swaged?

Correct. This batch of ammo was made for the Coast Guard. Deprime it like normal, but then the primer pocket requires swaging before a new primer can be seated.
