I love my Square deal & use it for 357 Mag & 45ACP. I am now needing to reload for my 9 X 18 Makarov, I really dont want to upgrade to the 550 or 650 & have to buy complete conversion kits all over again. for the above, Is there a conversion kit available the 9 X 18 Makarov, or plans for one, or any way the 380 conversion kit could be customized by dillon to work with the 9 X 18 Makarov.or am I stuck with the calibers listed. My only other option would seem to be to get standard dies for my turret press.

At this time we do not offer a SDB conversion for 9mm Makarov. This cartridge uses a .364" diameter projectile, and is not compatible with any dies for similar cartridges. The #5 shell plate will work for most brands of reloadable 9mm Mak brass, but you would have to obtain conventional 7/8-14 TPI dies and alter them in a lathe to fit the SDB. Based on conversion kit sales for the RL550 and XL650, while there are lots of makarov handguns in circulation, most owners don't choose to reload for them at this time.

Mr. Dillion, thanks for all you do. I have just discovered your forum and will now be here frequently to pester you and all of those who don't shoot enough. Ha. Great website, shoot straight, often, and mostly safely. Always be sure of your backstop.

we just recieved our new sdb reloader, spent sat night putting it all together and mounting on the bench
one more box of goodies should arrive tomorrow
hpefully i can get the powder measure down pat and reload a fe rounds by tues evening
thanks again for the forum and great customer service on the phone, made my purchase an easy event
