I've entered the world of making my own handloads (.38spl) recently and have what is probably a stupid question.
Is it okay to toss the spent primers in the trash? God knows with all the enviro police out there, I wouldn't want to be making a landfill out there any more hazardous than it already is.

Live primers might be a problem, but spent primers are inert. I've been doing it for years. In my mind it's no different than throwing bottle caps or can tabs in the garbage. I doubt there are any recycling venues for spent primers, but I could be wrong.
