Spent Primer Catcher Doesn't
My 650 drops about one spent primer in 20 on the floor instead of into the spent primer cup. It doesn't seem to matter if I operate the press quickly or slowly or if the cup is full or empty, every so often it spits one out. The cup is seated properly and fully forward in it's track and the bracket isn't damaged. I'm using small pistol primers and loading for a 9 mm for what that info is worth. My SDB does the same thing but much less frequently. Any suggestions?

I dont have my press yet, but if you can't find any helophere, there is an adapter for sale on ebay. Doesn't work on older XL650s. It looks like an aluminum machined part that attaches by the two screws that hold the clip that holds the spent primer box. Once attached you add the plastic hose to the nipple. Then you can use what ever container will work for your bench setup to catch the primers. It basically acts like a laundry shute. so the primers have no chance to bounce anywhere, but can only go down the shute to the container. It's $25.00.
