I'm reloading .223. using all Dillon equipment 550b and dillon .223 remington die set. During the bullet Seating die station process of the press, I have found that all the bullets or most of the bullets I have seated appear to have a noticable ring around the bullet head upon completion with the seating station process. Is this normal ?? I have not seen this before with other bullet seating dies. Maybe a bullet pulling die. Working with Nosler 55 gr ballistic tips bullets. Hints resolution THANKS
Also on another NOTE - I'm New to this Progressive loading process and the Dillon 550B.
The primer seating appears to function OK.
Although I could us a bit deeper seating of the primer and I have to hand pull just a tad for the primer to find its way into the .223 cases primer pocket on the small primer slide. Any Help?
