I understand that it is possible to convert the RL 450B to a 550B... To be precise, Dillon's website says to a "TL 550B". What is the difference between the RL and TL 550B models? Is there really a "TL" model or did someone just fumble finger it when they were typing in the web page?
Also, to do the complete conversion, what would it end up costing? It seems from the web page, there are various parts that you need to replace, but I'm curious if there is just a single kit that does everything (hopefully for cheaper than the separate pieces, of course).

TL is a typo. Is only the RL550B.
There no single kit to convert an RL450B into an RL550B.

You already have the auto eject system, since your RL450 is a "B".

So, after the conversion, it will have the removable tool heads and everything? I am considering purchasing a 450B and I just wanted to know that if I choose to add the upgrade kit to it, I'll end up with the same as if I had bought a 550B. Initially, I'll probably only be reloading a single caliber, but once I get comfortable with it, I'll probably want to upgrade it so that I can quickly switch calibers and from what I understand, the removable tool head is what gives you this capability.

The frame change kit gives you the interchangable toolhead capability, and it uses the same conversion kits as the 550 and 550B. Other than the markings on the link arms, the machine is identical to a current RL550B.

Can i just buy the RL450B frame change kit as my "base" and slowly buy the other kits (powder measure kit #20251,, auto-prime system #20055, and the low primer alarm #20302) to build an RL 550B?

Do you currently own an RL450? If not, it is not cost-effctive to piece one together. The frame kit consists of a bare frame with a toolhead, and does not include the shaft, platform, link arms, crank, etc.
If you do own an RL450, you can purchase each upgrade whenever you wish to add that application, as the upgrades are all independent of each other.
