Hi.
I was out in the garage puttering and looking at some old Dillon manuals. I was wondering if anyone had ever given any thought to adapting a 550 to swage primer pockets? The thought crossed my mind about replacing the primer cup assembly with a swager pin and then putting a piece of threaded stock in the die station to bottom out in the die. Sort of the way the 1050 operates. A person could then set one toolhead up for processing cases and then switch out for the actual loading. I am no machinist and therefore won't be trying this myself but wondered if anyone has considered it or made such an arrangement.
Regards,
Bob

Thought about it a little more and remembered the 550 primes on the upstroke and the 1050 on the down. Duh!
