New problem with my primer slide. In order to get a primer to drop into the primer cup, I have to gently push down on the top end of the primer slide when the handle is fully down and the primer slide is fully extended. What's wrong?

My guess is the slide has dirt/gunk built up. Take apart and clean. For metal to metal sliding parts I spray a bit of Hornaday One-shot on these surfaces. I stay away from plastic parts, just wipe clean. Let dry, assemble.
