Powder Bar Assembly

 the extra-small bar is for charges smaller than 2.5 grains. The standard small powder bar comes installed into the powder measure. You turn the adjusting bolt clockwise to drop more powder.

Sorry for not describing clearly. 

What I meant is the minimum grain I can get is about 6.0

It seems the adjusting nuts can't go any further counterclockwise. 

Is my adjustment wrong?

When I pull my handle down, the powder bar will move all the way. When the powder bar moved all the way, my handle is just a little bit almost to the bottom.

Do I have to set it exactly so that the powder bar will move all the way at the same time when the handle is at the bottom???

I'm just a little off??Is that OK??

If the powder charge won't go below 6 grains, then the large powder bar is installed. The small powder bar is about .357" thick, along with the spacer bar.

I checked the manual and you should have the small and large powder bars included with the SDB.

If you wish to be below 6.0 gr you need to buy a ex-small powder bar.

I believe the ex-large was made for loading mag loads--not sure where it starts but it throws more than the large one.

The small and ex-small bars come with a powder measure spacer.  You need this because the small and ex-small bars are only 1/2 the thickness of the large bar.
