I got you beat... I'm selling two Pro-1000 presses to buy a new 550B !! My new press will arrive in about 4 more days, so right now I feel like a kid in a candy shop.

I should have listened to my reloading pal to begin with. Dillon prices seemed high based on my reloading experience from the late 1980's. But, when you compare the prices of these machine to other top-of-the-line models out there today, they are actually very reasonable.

Additionally, my Pro-1000 came with Dillon powder hoppers, which had been "modified" to work with Lee. When I called to buy the replacement springs and mechanism to get them back in shape for use on my 550B, they were free! So to say the least, I'm already 'bowled over' with the service too.

I have pulled off 223 attempt on mine for a while.  I still use a single on that one.
