Love my new 650
Mrs. Santa Claus brought me a 650 for Christmas. After getting it set up , which I found VERY easy to do, I load some .223. There was a pretty steep learning cure but I did prevail. My next challenge to so locate the press fron my upstair game room to my "work room" down stairs. This will allow me to buy a case feeder for the press. The walls in the game room slant like the roof and are just not high enough. Thanks Dillon for providing a great piece of equipment. Login to reply to this topic
Congratulations on your 650.
I purchased 1 inch copper pipe and made a new support that fit on the right side and is about foot lower. The drop tube for cases was cut to match the new height. From the floor, instead of stool, I am can reach into the case feed (power off) to clear jams. This also allowed me to put the reloader into a cabinet. I am able to load in 3 feet wide by 2 feet deep. I can scan a picture and send if you want. I sent the dillon gang a picture many years ago, hoping they would provide this option. I think it is safer and takes up much less room. This might work for you lower ceiling. best to you, lcb@gainusa.com
