I have an SDB that I purchased in 1989. I love this machine, but I notice on the webpage that shows the parts breakdown that the spent primer cup is different from before. I just broke the spent primer cup bracket (part # 13594 in the instruction manual), and replaced it with the one I had in the spare parts kit. Is there any difference in the bottom of the frame on the newer SDBs that would preclude me from using the new setup on my old SDB?
The link arm bushings on my press are Delrin, but I have the brass bushings that came with the spare parts kit. Can I swap out the Delrin bushings and put the brass bushings on in their place?
Gee, it makes me feel like I've gotten behind the times when it comes to spare parts for my little SDB. Even though I also have an XL650, the SDB is going to be my primary press for pistol ammo.
Thanks,
