Handle Adjustment

I have 2 RL1050's, one set up for small and one for large pistol primers. I am moving them to a new bench I built and was wondering if I could correct a problem I have had with one of them since I got it. One I can mount about 1/4" back from the edge of the bench and have plenty of clearance for the handle. The other one I have to notch the edge of the bench to clear the handle. Is there any adjustment to the handle angle to allow me to clear the edge of the bench without having to knotch it?

There is no adjustment to the handle angle. I would check the journal key #13475 for damage.

Will take a look but it just seems to have a lot longer throw on the handle. It is so much more that I would have to have the press overhang the edge of the bench by about 1/4" to get it to clear the edge with the handle. Not very desireable.

There is some adjustment in stop bolt #13205. It goes into the rear of the frame and the crank journal stops against it. Loosen the jam nut and thread it in towards the journal.

I carefully compared the two units and found the problem. The down stop is having the Crank bottom out against the cast frame. The frame of the unit that allows for mounting at the edge of the bench is thicker in this area than the one I have to notch the bench for. I am going to try and epoxy some additional metal to create a stop that will allow me to mount at the edge without cutting up my bench. Not sure why they are different but I think I can correct the issue.
