Hi experts,
I'm reloading 9mm GECO cartridges (once fired) with my new 550B. Funny thing is, my S&W 5904 takes absoolutely anything the 550B produces. My Glock just doesn't. The Glock chamber seems to be much tighter than the S&W.
Approximately 25% of the loaded cartridges won't fit into the Glocks chamber. They just won't go in fully and if I force them, they get stuck and I have to pull them out.
What can I do? Change the brass (Geco to S&B or Magtech) will be my next option, as the 25% of nonworking cartridges sounds somewhat random to me, maybe the fault of the brass? I'm puzzled...

I think I was trying all kinds of crimp, from barely visible to heavy tapering.
Didn't change anything, I tried other brass (S&B, Federal, Magtech) and there the issue is not very pronounced, maybe one or two from a hundred get stuck in the chamber.
What I now tried (hint from a friend) is to make the OAL shorter, I went down to 28,5mm from 29,0 and that seems to help somewhat. Also re-seating the bullet seems to help.
Still, even with 1-2 out of 100 failing in the Glock, I need to check every single reloaded round in the Glocks barrel - very time consuming. Hate it.

Try this first; size about 10-15 pieces of brass, pull the barrel out of your Glock, and see if the sized empty cases fully chamber and fall out freely. If they do, then it is more likely the crimp. You could pull some of the bullets from cartridges that don't fit,resize them, then see if those cases chamber.

My bet is that you are not seating the bullets deep enough for your Glock chamber. As suggested, pull your barrel and see if they will drop in. If not try seating the bullets deeper until the drop in. Keep in mind that significantly shorter OAL will increase pressure. I your loads are low or mid range you should be ok with a shorter OAL.
