So I pulled out my 45 acp power funnel after leading it in the die for about 6 months and I notice the outside of the funnel (part between the power die and the funnel) is all corroded. Is this to be expected? Is it ok to put a light coat of clp on the outside of the funnel next time? If not what should I use?
This was in my garage in central texas..Its like anti-humid here so I'm kinda stumped. Nothing else shows any signs of wear or corrosion.

The corrosion appears to be very minor. use steel wool or a scotchbrite pad and WD-40 to clean it up. When not in use, it is fine to put a light coat of oil on it to prevent rust. Just wipe the part off prior to loading to prevent any powder contamination.
