Recently the motor to the case feeder will stop turning even with only 50-60 .45acp cases in the hopper. When I readjust the clutch it just slips. I can't seem to find a point where it will feed unless I only have a couple handfulls of cases in it. I've removed the feed wheel plate and cleaned under it to insure there was no debris causing excessive drag, but to no avail. Could the motor be weak or is there a way to lube it to make it turn easier? I never had this issue until the last few weeks.
If the motor is defective is it warranted? The press is only 9 months old.

Try tightening the set screw on the lower clutch plate a little bit. It should easily turn the plate with 200 pieces of 45ACP in the bowl. The gray plastic feed plate should almost drag on the interior of the bowl.
The motor has a one year warranty, so if adjusting the clutch fails to correct it, phone or e-mail for a return authorization. If you e-mail, please include your address.

Last weekend the feeder would not run at all. I removed the casefeeder and looked it over real good and found nothing that would cause a binding. I removed the bottom inspection cover and I tried plugging it in without the feed plate. I switched it on and it still wouldn't run at all.
I then tried jumping out the wires from the casing shut-off switch so it would run constantly when switched on and it began running again. I then routed the wires back to the normal position and it would run once again.
Today it seemed to run just fine. It appears that I have some sort of intermittent connection in the case shut-off switch. Have these been known to fail before?
