Belling with Dillon Dies

I really like the Dillon dies and use them on my 1050. However, sometimes I would like to do small batches on a single stage press and I need to bell the mouth for the bullet. Is there a way to do this with Dillons dies or other tools? I've thought of using the powder die assembly but would rather not move the whole powder assembly just to add a bell.

Since our reloading machines are designed to flare the case at the powder measure, you can use an RL450 powder die (stock #20308-$17.95) to flare the case on your single stage loader. The 450 powder die has a set screw to lock the powder funnel in place, then adjust the height of the die to flare the case the desired amount.

I USE A LEE UNVERSAL EXPANDER DIE ON MY CAST BULLET LOADING IN MY SINGLE STAGE PRESS IT WILL DO RIFLE AND LARGE PISTOL CASES WITH EASY AND IT IS ONLY ABOUT 12 TO 15 BUCKS FROM MIDSOUTH. MOEMOE
