I understand different powders have different density, but as a general rule do I need the Magnum powder bar to reload 7mm Rem Magnum ? Thanks

The standard large powder bar drops up to mid-50 grain range of extruded powder, and up to about 60 grains of ball/spherical powder.
Only if your suggested powder charges exceed this do you need the magnum powder bar.
