does anyone use the 650 without the case feeder... I just purchased it and was wondering proper way to use without it... ?: just drop them in the tube?????

I've used mine for years without the auto casefeeder.
If you wanna increase your empty brass capacity, what I did was to use a couple peices of 1/2" CPVC about 4' long. This will fit into the casefeed adapter and will hold approx 40 .30 carbine cases, probably double that for .45 ACP.
You can also make case tube "speed loaders" by curring the CPVC the same length as the clear tube and drilling a hole in one end (like the Dillon primer tubes) and drop them into the clear tube as needed.
