GETTING DENTED PRIMERS ON RELOADING .50 AE,PLEASE ADVISE.THANK YOU....

what shape are the dents? If crescent shaped, this indicates primer cup edges are being shaved upon seating. To correct this, snug up the shellplate bolt a little.

I had dents on primers with both 44 mag and 38spec. I kept getting a grain of Unique stuck to the primer seat. Now I just keep an eye on it when I go back to that powder. They still fired fine.
