There are two powder through expanding dies, one marked S and the other SW. I'm assuming that the S is for the 32 shorts and the sw for 32L, 32HR and 327. Is this correct? I am only loading 32hr and 327; the machine is set up and has cranked out a succesful .327 round with the SW die. Thanks for the clarification! The SW funnel is longer for use with full wadcutter bullets. For any other bullet style, use the S funnel. Case length and caliber is not relevant.

Confused a bit by the answer, I'm not understanding what the powder die in st 2 has to do with bullet type? The seating die in st 3 would be different for different bullet types; but I'm tending to think that the thru-powder expanding die in st 2 has everything to do with case length. Thanks again.

wadcutter bullets go deeper into the case than other bullets. To minimize deformation on the hollow bottom portion of these bullets, the expander goes deeper into the case to open it up a bit more.
